Location: Bargeway Pub, The Dalles, Oregon

Job Type: Full-time/Part-time

Job Summary: Bargeway Pub is seeking motivated Bussers to support our service team. Your primary role is to ensure the dining room remains clean, inviting, and efficient. By clearing tables quickly and assisting the servers and host, you play a vital role in our ability to serve as many guests as possible while maintaining our high standards of cleanliness.

Responsibilities:

• Clear dishes, glassware, and silver from tables after guests depart.

• Clean and sanitize tabletops, chairs, and booths thoroughly between seatings.

• Reset tables with appropriate silverware and napkins.

• Assist servers by refilling water, clearing appetizers, or delivering bread/chips.

• Keep the dining room floor free of debris and spills.

• Support the dishwasher by organizing dirty dishes and unloading clean glassware.

• Maintain clean restrooms and common areas throughout the shift.

• Perform opening and closing side-work as assigned.

  Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency.

• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and move quickly through a crowded dining room.

• Valid Oregon Food Handler’s Card.

• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and nights.
