Position: Server

Location: Bargeway Pub, The Dalles, Oregon

Job Type: Full-time/Part-time

Job Summary: Bargeway Pub is seeking energetic and professional Servers to join our front-of-house team. As a Server, you are the primary point of contact for our guests, responsible for providing exceptional hospitality and ensuring an enjoyable dining experience. The ideal candidate has a friendly personality, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Greet guests warmly, present menus, and provide detailed information on specials and beverages.

• Take accurate food and drink orders using our POS system.

• Coordinate with the kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely and accurate delivery of orders.

• Perform tableside duties such as refilling drinks, clearing plates, and checking on guest satisfaction.

• Handle financial transactions accurately and efficiently.

• Maintain a clean and organized dining area and server station.

• Follow all OLCC regulations regarding the responsible service of alcohol.

• Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth transitions between shifts and consistent service.

  Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Proven experience as a Server in a high-volume restaurant.

• Valid OLCC Service Permit and Oregon Food Handler’s Card.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.

• Availability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
