Position: Hostess/Busser/Runner

Location: Bargeway Pub, The Dalles, Oregon

Job Type: Full-time

Job Summary: Bargeway Pub is seeking a skilled and experienced Hostess/Busser/Runner to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a passion for the hospitality industry, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. As a Hostess/Busser/Runner, you will be responsible for greeting and seating customers, assisting the wait staff, and ensuring that the dining room is clean and organized. You will work closely with the management team and other staff to ensure that all customers' needs are met.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and welcome customers as they arrive at the restaurant

• Seat customers and provide menus

• Answer customer questions about the menu and make recommendations

• Assist the wait staff by clearing tables, filling water glasses, and delivering food to customers

• Keep the dining room and restrooms clean and organized

• Collaborate with the management team to develop new ways to improve the customer experience

• Work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy

• Perform other related duties as assigned by management

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Proven experience as a Hostess/Busser/Runner in a high-volume restaurant or similar environment

• Strong customer service skills and the ability to work well with others

• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds

• Attention to detail and accuracy

• Availability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
